Applying

Thank you for your interest in the new Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship Program at Kaweah Health. We are a two year program and will be accepting three fellows per year. We received initial accreditation by the ACGME in 2021.

We look forward to reviewing your application. All applications must be submitted through ERAS and we only offer positions through the NRMP. Kaweah Health's Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship can be located in ERAS using the following name: Kaweah Health Care District (KDHCD) Program Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.

Applicants who match must obtain a California medical license, should you match into our program you will need to start the application process in January and follow all deadlines. Please refer to the California Medical Board website at www.mbc.ca.gov or ombc.ca.gov.

Following are a few requisites which will be taken into consideration during the review of applications:

  • Applicants must have completed, or be in their third year of an accredited General Psychiatry Program
  • Letter of recommendation from your Program Director, to include the general program attestation form for fellowship eligibility
  • Completed ERAS Application
  • USMLE/COMLEX Transcript
  • 3 letters of recommendation
  • Medical School Transcript
  • Dean’s Letter from medical/osteopathic school
  • Personal Statement
  • CV
  • Completion of 2 CSV exams at time of application. Completion of 3 CSV exams is required upon entry to fellowship.

Please note we are NOT:

  • Providing Visa Sponsorship
  • Reviewing application materials submitted outside of ERAS
  • Distributing application materials
  • Offering observership positions
  • Filling positions outside of the Match
  • Offering off-cycle positions
