Urgent Care on Court is a 15-room outpatient urgent care. We treat episodic illnesses such as sore throats, viruses, flu, seasonal allergies, sprains, strains, lacerations (cuts), and simple broken bones. Our providers perform non-invasive procedures such as ingrown toenail removal, simple laceration repair with sutures, and drainage of simple, uncomplicated abscesses.

Unit details:

  • Number of total positions on Unit:
  • Average patient ratio: 1 LVN or MA to 4 patients
  • Planned expansion (and timeframe): FQHC application submitted 4/11/19; will find out if designated 9/1/19.
  • Total number of beds in the unit: 15
  • Average census, census range: 130 – 185 patients per day
  • Length of Patient Stay: 90 – 105 minutes; goal is less than 60 minutes

Scheduling details:

  • Shifts offered (i.e., 8, 10, 12 hours): Combination of 8 and 12 hour shifts.
  • Weekend requirements: 6 weekend shifts (Saturday, Sunday) required every 12 weeks
  • Holiday requirements: Some holidays required
  • Call requirements: N/A
