  • Vacation - 4 weeks
  • Orientation - 4 weeks
  • Pediatrics in the ED - 4 weeks
  • Trauma/Surgery - 4 weeks
  • Anesthesiology - 4 weeks
  • Ultrasound - 4 weeks
  • ICU - 4 weeks
  • Orthopedics - 4 weeks (PGY1 or PGY2)

PGY2 Rotations

  • Emergency Department - 16 weeks
  • Vacation - 4 weeks
  • Pediatric ED* - 4 weeks
  • Pediatric ICU* - 4 weeks
  • Neurosurgery/Neurology - 4 weeks
  • Pediatrics in the ED - 4 weeks
  • ICU - 8 weeks
  • Selective - 4 weeks
  • OB/GYN - 2 weeks
  • Rapid Response Team (RRT) - 2 weeks

PGY3 Rotations

  • Emergency Department - 36 weeks
  • Vacation - 4 weeks
  • EMS/Admin - 4 weeks
  • Electives - 8 weeks

ED ultrasound will be a daily part of all ED rotations. Ultrasound is also used in the Intensive Care Units.
