Kaweah Health Welcomes Oncologist and Hematologist Dr. Amitoj Gill

VISALIA, Calif. – Kaweah Health is excited to welcome Dr. Amitoj Gill, a medical oncologist and hematologist, to its cancer care team.

Dr. Gill focuses on compassion, personalized treatment, and collaboration when taking care of his patients. He also uses cutting-edge research to provide state-of-the-art care to his patients.

“I treat each patient as a unique individual, considering their specific diagnosis, genetic makeup, and personal preferences,” Dr. Gill said. “My aim is to provide the best possible care while ensuring that patients and their families feel informed and empowered to make decisions together.”

Dr. Gill graduated from Christian Medical College in Ludhiana, India and completed his residency at Johns Hopkins University/Sinai Hospital of Baltimore. He completed his clinical fellowship in hematology and oncology at the University of Louisville in Kentucky. He is board-certified in internal medicine, hematology, and oncology.

His wife is Dr. Harleen Chahil, an interventional and structural cardiologist at Kaweah Health Cardiology Center.

Dr. Gill joins medical oncologists Dr. Robert Havard, Dr. Bhupinder Chatrath, and Dr. Sanjai Sharma at the Sequoia Regional Cancer Center.
