Care We Provide
Amputee
Our program is specialty accredited in amputee recovery by the CARF. Therapy, medical, and nursing teams work together to support mobility, daily living activities, wound care, prosthetic preparation, family training, and education to reduce the risk of further amputation. The team also collaborates with prosthetic companies to meet each patient’s needs during their stay and after discharge, helping to ensure success at home.
Cardiac
Our team treats a variety of cardiac conditions, including recovery from open-heart surgery, pacemaker implantation, atrial valve replacements, and more. After inpatient care, our team works closely with the outpatient Kaweah Health Cardiac Rehabilitation Program to support continued recovery.
Neurological Pathologies
In addition to stroke and traumatic brain injury, we treat a variety of neurological diseases including, but not limited to Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, Guillain- Barre syndrome, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), and conversion disorder. Please connect with us concerning diagnoses that are not list above.
Brain Injury
Patients with brain injuries receive comprehensive care tailored to their specific needs. Our therapists and nursing staff specialize in behavioral management, cognition, mobility, and essential daily activities to support a safe return home.
Multi-Trauma and Orthopedic Injuries
Our team has significant experience treating patients with multi-trauma injuries, including those caused by car accidents, motorcycle accidents, falls, and more. Individualized treatment plans are developed based on each patient’s needs and medical precautions to restore function and support a confident transition back to daily life.
Spinal Cord Injury
Our team is specially trained in spinal cord injury rehabilitation and recovery, including complete and incomplete spinal cord injuries, central cord syndrome, cauda equina, and more. We provide care in bowel and bladder management, mobility training, specialty wheelchair evaluation, patient and family education, and optimizing function based on the level or type of injury.
