Shelly Bansal, MD
Cardiothoracic Surgery
Dr. Bansal is a cardiothoracic surgeon at Kaweah Health Cardiothoracic Surgery Clinic. She’s committed to delivering compassionate, high-quality cardiac care. She earned her medical degree from the University of Sint Eustatius School of Medicine. Dr. Bansal completed fellowships in surgical critical care and cardiothoracic surgery at Ohio State University, as well as a transplant fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Bansal specializes in heart failure and high-risk coronary artery bypass grafting, surgical treatment of atrial fibrillation, mechanical circulatory support, and shock team management. She is known for her holistic, patient-centered approach. Dr. Bansal emphasizes open communication and shared decision-making to empower patients and their families. She treats every patient with the same dedication and care she would offer her own family. Dr. Bansal focuses on helping each individual achieve the best possible outcomes close to home.

Harleen Chahil, MD
Interventional and Structural Cardiology
Dr. Chahil is an interventional and structural cardiologist at Kaweah Health Cardiology Center. She provides proactive, patient-centered cardiovascular care. Dr. Chahil trained at Christian Medical College in India. Then she completed her internal medicine residency at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore and fellowships in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology at the University of Louisville. Dr. Chahil specializes in interventional cardiology, structural heart disease, women’s cardiovascular health, STEMI management, and complex coronary interventions. She founded the first structural heart program in Southern Indiana. She’s also the former director of the Women’s Heart Program at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, Indiana. Her care philosophy emphasizes prevention, personalized risk assessment, and patient empowerment through education and lifestyle modification. She is dedicated to evidence-based medicine and advocacy. Dr. Chahil works to enhance her patients’ quality of life and support them in taking control of their heart health.

Ryan Dean, MD
Orthopedic Surgery
Dr. Dean is an orthopedic trauma surgeon at Orthopaedic Associates. He is passionate about helping patients regain mobility and confidence after serious injuries. Dr. Dean obtained his medical degree at New York Medical College. Then he completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Oklahoma and an orthopedic trauma fellowship as a San Diego Orthopaedic Trauma Fellow. Dr. Dean brings a precise, problem-solving approach to treating fractures, including pelvic ring and acetabular fractures, upper and lower extremity injuries, and severe elbow trauma. Dr. Dean understands that patients often meet him during one of their most difficult moments. He prioritizes building trust through compassionate care, individualized treatment plans, and shared decision-making. Dr. Dean is committed to restoring function and supporting each patient’s return to their daily life.

Amitoj Gill, MD
Medical Oncology
Dr. Gill is a medical oncologist and hematologist at Sequoia Regional Cancer Center. He trained at Christian Medical College in India. Then he completed a residency at Johns Hopkins University/Sinai Hospital of Baltimore, followed by a fellowship at the University of Louisville. His areas of focus include diagnosing and treating blood cancers such as leukemia, lymphoma, and myeloma, as well as breast, lung, gastrointestinal, and prostate cancers. He specializes in chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted therapy. Dr. Gill’s care philosophy centers on compassion, personalized treatment, and open communication. He wants patients and their families to feel informed and empowered at every stage. He also has a strong interest in clinical trials and cutting-edge research aimed at improving outcomes and quality of life.

Walter Gribben, MD
Pulmonology
Dr. Gribben is a pulmonologist at Kaweah Health Willow Specialty Clinic. He is focused on helping patients breathe easier and improve their lung health. Dr. Gribben earned his medical degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine. Then he completed a combined internal medicine and pediatrics residency at Saint Louis University Hospital. Dr. Gribben also finished a fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine at the University of California, Irvine Medical Center. Dr. Gribben’s areas of expertise include bronchoscopy, endobronchial ultrasound with transbronchial needle aspiration, and the treatment of conditions such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, asthma, and lung nodules. He is passionate about using the latest pulmonary procedures to diagnose and manage lung diseases, including cancer. Dr. Gribben is committed to providing advanced, personalized care. He is happy to bring his skills and dedication to the Central Valley community.

Carla Herriford, MD
Dermatology
Dr. Herriford is a dermatologist working in our Kaweah Health Dinuba, Tulare, and Exeter Clinics. She brings decades of expertise and compassionate care to her patients. Dr. Herriford is a graduate of Harvard University and Baylor College of Medicine. She completed her residency at Martin Luther King/Charles R. Drew Medical Center in Los Angeles. Dr. Herriford specializes in general dermatology, skin cancer detection and treatment, complex skin conditions, and culturally tailored care. Her philosophy centers on treating each patient as a whole. She also emphasizes the vital role skin plays in overall health and self-confidence. Dr. Herriford is known for her hands-on approach and dedication to personal interaction. She ensures every patient feels seen, heard, and empowered as part of their care. Before joining Kaweah Health, Dr. Herriford served for 15 years as lead physician in dermatology at Los Angeles County Department of Health Services.

Holly Quinn, MD
Obstetrics and Gynecology
Dr. Quinn is an obstetrician and gynecologist at Kaweah Health Medical Clinic - Willow. She provides comprehensive, women-centered care throughout every stage of life. Dr. Quinn was raised in California’s Central Valley and trained as a physician in Brooklyn. She brings a deep passion for serving diverse communities. She completed her medical degree at Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara in Mexico and her OB-GYN residency at The Brooklyn Hospital Center. Dr. Quinn specializes in comprehensive preconception, prenatal, delivery, and postpartum care. She also focuses on menopause management, minimally invasive surgery, and treatment for conditions such as polycystic ovary syndrome and pelvic pain. Dr. Quinn is fluent in English and Spanish. She focuses on empowering women through education, preventive care, and personalized support. Her philosophy emphasizes truly listening to patients’ concerns to deliver compassionate, individualized care. Dr. Quinn finds great joy in guiding women through pregnancy journeys. She is committed to improving outcomes and supporting healthy families.

Danny Vazquez, MD, MPP
Radiation Oncology
Dr. Vazquez is a radiation oncologist at Sequoia Regional Cancer Center - Visalia and Sequoia Regional Cancer Center - Hanford. He is dedicated to providing patient-centered, compassionate cancer care. Dr. Vazquez trained at Harvard Medical School, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, and Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center. He combines technical expertise with a deeply personal understanding of cancer’s impact. He specializes in treating a range of cancers, including prostate, breast, lung, and head and neck cancers. Dr. Vazquez is also skilled in advanced techniques such as stereotactic radiosurgery and brachytherapy. He prioritizes collaboration with patients to understand their goals and values. Dr. Vazquez wants to empower people to make informed decisions about their care. His approach emphasizes multidisciplinary coordination and continuous communication with other specialists. He wants to ensure patients have comprehensive, personalized treatment plans. Drawing from his own experiences, he is committed to delivering empathetic, cutting-edge cancer care.
