Preparing to welcome a baby can be a busy time. We’re here to support you with helpful information. Please join us for the classes listed below.

Prepared childbirth 

This interactive class teaches you all about the childbirth experience. During this in-person, one-night event, the nurse manager will tell you about what to expect. They will also provide pointers for having a more relaxed labor and delivery. You can bring one support person with you.

This class, which costs $35, is offered on the second and third Wednesday of each month, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Breastfeeding 

This class is for new parents and people who support them. Participants learn the benefits of and tips on breastfeeding. 

During the class, the lactation consultant will teach you about:

• Using different breastfeeding positions
• Establishing a good milk supply
• Helping your baby latch
• Knowing if your baby is getting enough milk
• Pumping and storing breast milk

You can bring one support person with you to this class, held once a month from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. There is no charge.
