Walk with a Doc is a free community health program that brings people together for a walk, health education and conversation with a doctor.
Whether you're looking to get more active, learn about your health or meet others in the community, Walk with a Doc is a simple way to take a step toward better health.
Bring a friend or family member and join us for the next walk.

- 8 a.m. - 9:15 a.m.
- Blain Park - 3101 S. Court St., Visalia, CA 93277
- Second Saturday of the month, health topic varies
- September 12 - Healthy Aging
- October 10 - Breast Cancer Awareness
- November 14 - Diabetes & Oral Health
- December 12 - Grief and the Holidays
What to Expect
At Walk with a Doc, you will
- Learn about a specified health topic from a doctor
- Spend time moving
- Meet other people in the community
You do not need to be an athlete or an experienced walker to join us. Walk at your own pace and take breaks when you need them. We'll also have healthy snacks and prizes.
Why Walking Matters
Regular physical activity can support your heart, help you maintain a healthy weight, and improve your overall health.
Walking is one of the easiest ways to add more movement to your day. You can start with a short walk and build from there.
Walk with a Doc makes getting active more social, welcoming, and educational.

Yes. Walk with a Doc is offered as a free community health event.
Registration happens at 8 a.m. day of the event.
Wear comfortable clothing and walking shoes. Bring water, especially on warm days.
