The field seeks to clarify the values at stake and influence change through guidelines and policies, addressing questions about life, death, and the human body in the face of rapid scientific progress.

Additionally, Denise Dudzinski, esteemed professor of bioethics, humanities, and palliative care at the University of Washington, will offer important insights in her presentation Finding Peace in the Clinical Encounters You Dread. Dudzinski has extensive academic and clinical experience in providing ethical consultation, addressing moral distress and ethical issues in end-of-life care.

The day will conclude with a question-and-answer time with Pope and Dudzinski.

The conference is sure to be a fascinating day filled with enriching dialogue and insights into the important ways in which bioethics impacts our healthcare and our lives. This is once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to share time with these experts here in the Central Valley for a remarkably low cost.
