Website Terms of Use

Effective Date: November 6, 2026
Last Updated: November 6, 2026

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of www.kaweahhealth.org (the “Site”), which is operated by Kaweah Delta Health Care District, doing business as Kaweah Health (“Kaweah Health,” “we,” or “us”). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. NOT FOR EMERGENCIES

THIS SITE IS NOT FOR HEALTH EMERGENCIES. IF YOU HAVE A LIFE-THREATENING MEDICAL EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY OR GO TO THE NEAREST EMERGENCY ROOM. IF YOU ARE IN A MENTAL HEALTH CRISIS, CALL OR TEXT 988.

Site content is general information provided for educational and administrative convenience. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and it does not replace the advice of your health care provider. Using the Site, including submitting a form or message, does not create a provider-patient relationship with Kaweah Health or its medical staff. Please do not send urgent or detailed medical information through the Site or by email, which may not be secure or monitored for medical needs.

2. ONLINE FORMS

Online forms are not monitored for urgent or medical needs. If your need is time-sensitive, please call 559-624-2000. By providing a phone number, you agree that we may contact you to respond to your request. A parent or legal guardian may submit forms on behalf of a minor.

3. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES AND LINKS

Some Site features, including, but not limited to, our patient portal, bill pay, scheduling, forms, and career applications, are run by vendors acting on our behalf under written agreements. Health information you submit through them is handled under our Privacy Policy. These services may open in a separate window and may have their own terms.

The Site also links to or embeds third-party content that we do not own or control, such as social media, videos, and maps. Those third parties’ terms and privacy practices apply, and a link is not an endorsement. Please do not post health information on our social media pages. They are public and are not monitored for medical needs.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kaweah Health is not responsible for third-party websites and services that do not act on our behalf. Nothing in this Section limits our own obligations under HIPAA, California law, or other applicable law.

4. PRIVACY

Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect through the Site, including through cookies, analytics tools, and online advertising services, and the choices you have.

5. SITE CONTENT AND USE

The Site and its content, including the Kaweah Health name and logos, are owned by or licensed to Kaweah Health and are protected by law. You may view, print, and download content for personal, non-commercial use with all notices intact. Other uses require our written permission.

You may not post user content on the Site, attempt unauthorized access, introduce malicious code, interfere with the Site, or submit false information.

You may not use scrapers, bots, or similar automated tools (including tools that gather content for AI training) to extract provider directory data, text, or logos for commercial redistribution or to build a competing product, or in a way that burdens the Site. This does not restrict personal use, ordinary search-engine indexing, files we make available for download, or public records requests.

6. DISCLAIMERS AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

The Site is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Information such as provider directories, hours, services, insurance participation, and waiting times may change, so please confirm by calling before utilizing services.

Physicians who practice at Kaweah Health facilities and appear on the Site are independent practitioners, not employees or agents of Kaweah Health. They exercise their own professional judgment and are responsible for the care they provide.

To the fullest extent permitted by California law, Kaweah Health, its board of directors, officers, and employees are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site, including reliance on its content or computer viruses. This applies to use of the Site only and does not limit liability for care and treatment, which is governed by other agreements and applicable law. Nothing in these Terms waives any immunity or protection available to Kaweah Health under California law, including the Government Claims Act, or excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

7. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may change these Terms or the Site at any time without prior notice. Changes take effect when posted, and the “Last Updated” date shows the latest revision. Continued use means you accept the changes.
